Post Frenzy

What I want to know now is why the beautiful image I uploaded, which appeared in the right box in the Customise section, can't be seen on my blog?

Joining the digital ages

short post to celebrate the fact that I have, for the first time, just made a comment on another blog and linked it to my website. Any day now I will have a link.

Getting Closer

Well, this is my 3rd week at least of posting so I am sure that counts as regular in some way. It is at least more than a start. I am also getting closer to writing about the things that I eventually want to focus on, i.e. things that will be actually relevant for my target audience. 'And who are they?', you might ask should you actually be reading this and whoever you are. I work with people who have recently been promoted to either a senior management role or directorship and want to be doing a great job quickly. To give the business and their team what they need whilst enjoying the whole thing. I have begun to keep a log on ideas for Blogs and may start next time with looking at how each of the 10 Components of the Thinking Environments relates to this topic. I must also work out how to write in Word and then copy into my blog so that I have an easily copiable version of what I have written. Other things for today are to start to work out what my keywords are and to start the habit of commenting on blogs and linking them to my website. At the moment there are no links to my site - that's right none, 0, zilch. Of course this definitely means that the only way is up.

Technology eh?

Well, here I am again for my 10 minute blogspot. I did not think that I was going to make it as once again technological breakdown and Tuesday coincided and I had no internet access for a couple of hours. Despite me rebooting and turning everything off and on again several times nothing happened. Then suddently it came back on. If only I knew why and if only I had not lost confidence in its reliability. Still, I have made some progress in my in-bound world programme and I am about to link this site to Feedburner which will tell me who, if anyone ever reads this blog. At the moment, of course, I would like that to be no-one but time will come when this will be an essential read for anyone who is interested in improving what they do at work when they have just been promoted. Note to self - can I constuct a coaching website which does not use the word performance at all? Sounds like a tough one. At the moment I do not feel like someone who has just been promoted and wants to be doing well quickly, but like someone who has just been given a job doing something they know nothing about. Keen to learn thought, just need to try and work out exactly what it is I need to learn and not get lost in detail. At some point I am going to start to link this blog to what I actually do and make it interesting to my potential audience but not yet as my time is up. What a cheat.
